Rebecca Plummer
Practice Principal and Physiotherapist

Rebecca Plummer is the founder of Be Active Physiotherapy. She completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy at Charles Sturt University Albury. She has since worked across central west NSW as a physiotherapist in Wagga, Blayney, Orange and Bathurst.

Rebecca also works as an animal physiotherapist having completed further studies in animal physiotherapy through the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Outside of work Rebecca loves riding horses, playing sport and visiting the family farm.

Rebecca finds working as a physiotherapist extremely rewarding, helping her patients achieve their goals and return to doing what they love most.

Shockwave Therapy

Be Active Physiotherapy is pleased to offer access to Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) as a part of our services. Shockwave Therapy, or Radial Shockwave Therapy, provides treatments to patients suffering from a range of chronic conditions such as tendinopathies that are notoriously difficult to resolve.

Animal Physiotherapy

Animal Physiotherapy is now widely accepted as an important component of the treatment of many conditions in the small animal patient and horses. My physiotherapy programs are aimed at accelerating the rehabilitation process and restoring function and quality of life to client’s pets.

Health fund rebates for Physiotherapy services differ between health funds and I encourage you to check with your health fund regarding your level of cover. To claim on the spot you will need to bring your health fund card with you to the consultation.
